COUNSELING & HYPNOTHERAPY We all want a life that is fulfilling to us in every respect – we want to live a Holistic Life Style. It requires a belief structure that accepts the Divinity of the Self and a willingness to bring the Higher Self forth in everyday life. The "core courses" of the School are designed to teach the student to accomplish this goal, but sometimes there are inner barriers to development of such a life style. This individual needs the counsel and guidance of a trained metaphysician. The Kentucky School of Metaphysics offers a unique program that enables the student to go beyond the teachings of the Disciple. The focus of this program is to train counselors to provide the guidance necessary to remove the barriers to knowledge of the Higher Self and its expression in every part of life. The student learns to identify the causes through the use of meditation, hypnosis, psionics, past life "remembrance" and other subjective methods. The Program offers training in Hypnotherapy that meets the requirements for certification by the Kentucky Association of Hypnotherapists as a Clinical Hypnotherapist. The Certification Program consists of 105 hours of "contact instruction" plus reading materials and an internship conducting twenty-five hypnotherapy sessions under the supervision of a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist Additional Hypnotherapy courses are offered to aid Ministers in Pastoral Counseling.
Mystical Order of Creative Action "We Create Reality" is the motto of the practicing Magi of the Mystical Order of Creative Action. Indeed, physicists and psychologists agree that consciousness is the determining factor structuring the reality in which we function. The neophyte Magus learns the meaning of Modern Magick; that is, the use of archetypal symbols to channel energy and raise consciousness at will. He learns the basics of the Western Tradition; that all creation is an emanation of the Creator expressed through successive states of manifestation. The Tradition teaches that as the physical world of the four elements becomes manifest, the process of evolution begins. It is the sum total of life's experiences that expands the Spark of Divine Consciousness until full self-awareness is reached. Man is thus given the opportunity to participate in creation on behalf of the Creator and, through continued development of consciousness, to experience the unity of all in the diversity of creation. When the neophyte completes this probationary period, he is initiated as an Apprentice in the Mystical Order. The Apprentice learns the symbols of the Western Tradition based on the Tree of Life. It provides an index to the symbols of the Creative Process on the macrocosmic level and to the Higher Forces of the Individual on the microcosmic level. When these symbols have been integrated into the psyche, the Apprentice is initiated as a Disciple of the Mystical Order. The Disciple continues to work with the symbol system, including the Archangels, the Runes and the Holy Names. The Disciple learns to move his consciousness from one plane to another by use of these symbols. When he learns to make these changes on the Thought Plane that will result in changes on the Physical Plane, the Disciple is ready to be initiated as an Adept. The Adept learns to use ritual to attune the consciousness to the desired energy vibration and plane. Rituals enable the Adept to design operations that will create a better physical world through changes on the Thought Plane. The final initiation raises the Adept to a Master Magus. The conflict between these ancient principles and the doctrine of obedience causes mental confusion and inner turmoil. In despair, some have turned to the traditions of the East, but they have found little comfort there. It is far better to get to know our own Western Tradition and then decide whether or not to reclaim our lost heritage.
